The Ram Color Guard is an integral part of the Ram Marching Band. Color Guard members learn routines using silks and pikes, rifles, dance, and other props to provide movement and visual interest to Marching Band performances. Many Ram Color Guard members are musicians in the Concert Band, Concert Choir, or other ensembles, but non-musicians are welcome in the Color Guard as well.
Membership in the Ram Color Guard is also open to students in grades 7 and 8 who attend Badin feeder schools.
